Please be informed that the Laboratory is about to be evaluated by the Bulgarian Accreditation Service (BAS) Executive Agency for extension of the scope of accredited activities.

The procedure will take place in July 2025 and is related to the inclusion of new test parameters for specific organic pollutants in the testing of:
 Drinking water - in accordance with Regulation No 9 of 2001 on the quality of water intended for drinking purposes;
 Groundwater - in accordance with Ordinance No. 1 of 2007 on exploration, use and protection of groundwater.

The extension includes testing for the following groups of pollutants:
 Pesticides;
 Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs);
 Volatile organic compounds (VOCs);

With this step, LACOS continues to develop and consolidate its activities in accordance with national and European requirements, providing its customers with an even higher level of quality and reliability in water analysis.
