Waste testing

LAKOS Laboratory at "Eco-Consult-Engineering" Ltd. is accredited by the Bulgarian Accreditation Service for testing waste and eluates from their leaching.

The type of tested characteristics is in accordance with the requirements of the following normative documents:

 Regulation №6 of August 27, 2013 on the conditions and requirements for the construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and installations for the recovery and disposal of waste, amendment and addition to SG No. 36 of May 1, 2021.
 Order RD - 950/13.12.2014 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications regarding test methods in order to mainly characterize and establish compliance.

The tests are carried out according to standardized methods and internally validated laboratory methods, according to the following indicators:

 Active reaction/pH
 Electrical conductivity
 Heat losses
 Determining the content of dry matter (dry matter) and moisture (moisture content)
 Elemental content (Barium, Selenium, Cadmium, Molybdenum, Nickel, Copper, Lead, Vanadium, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Cobalt, Iron, Mercury and Thallium)
 Chromium (Total)
 Chromium (Hexavalent)
 Chlorides
 Sulfates
 Fluorides
 Nitrates
 Nitrites
 Phosphates
